Per request from http://akregator.kde.org/blog/, a list of problematic feeds that would make good test cases:

• use.perl.org. Akregator has lots of trouble with this feed, I usually end up deleting it after giving it a try on each new versiomn of Akregator.
• From the blog comments: "http://hilfe.us/index.rss may qualify"
• From the blog comments: "http://habrahabr.ru/rss/blogs/webdev/ ..denies to load"
